so when was jesus begotten.
was he truly and wholly fully human.
did he exist in two states, part human part god.
Jesus was body, soul and spirit. His soul & spirit were perfectly in tune with the Fathers law & will. His body didn't need to be perfect, nor could it be. His body became perfect when it was "glorified" in the resurrection. It is that soul & spirit that had pre-existance with the Father.

Maybe the bible thumpers on here can quote the chapter and verse in which the congregation is told not to eat with--or greet--an unrepentant wrongdoer who calls himself a brother ?
the bible does not say that god does not want to lie, but that he cannot lie or it is impossible for god to lie.

so, if god cannot lie, for what purpose and why did he create creatures (satan, demons, humans) who can lie?.
I remember the WT released a book:- " Things in which its impossible for god to lie ", a pale green colour--?
We called it the Things book--or rather the Impossible book privately.
Which begs the question--" if there are things in which it is impossible for god to lie----then are there other things in which he does lie ?

i often times wonder what happened to certain bethelites that i ran around with during my 1990s tenure there.
while there are still a few left there, the greater majority of them aren't there for various reasons (marriage, disillusionment, left the borg, etc).
a couple of cats i wonder about - there was one brother who i believe was from kansas, who got his fingers cut off in a printing press.
its very reassuring reading all these bethel boy stories on here--the main ex jw forum. It says a lot.
i'm quite new to this site, & have realised some members have a union jack symbol under their avatar.

revelation 21:2 i also saw the holy city, new jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from god and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.. hebrews 11:10 for he (abraham) was awaiting the city having real foundations, whose designer and builder is god.. revelation 21:24 and the nations will walk by means of its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it.. revelation 22:1 and he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, flowing out from the throne of god and of the lamb 2 down the middle of its main street (of the holy city).

so why did god only have one son ? Seems a bit odd from a jewish point of view.
